Configuring Verification Features

Using this procedure, you will configure the verification feature, allowing you to compare a collected value to a stored value (part tag or lot tag) for verification. To configure verification features, you must do the following:

  1. Create one or more tag groups with tags that will be used for comparison and verification. For more information, please see Creating Tag Groups.

  2. Create a part or create a lot associated with the comparison tag group created above. For more information, please see Creating Parts or Creating Lots.

  3. Create the verification feature, setting the feature type to Verification, and then selecting the comparison tag type (Lot Tag or Part Tag) and the tag group containing the comparison tags. For more information, please see Creating Features.

Configuring Boolean Logic Verification

For advanced verification scenarios, you can configure Boolean logic to compare multiple attribute values within the same data collection. This is commonly used for dual verification requirements.

  1. Create two separate attribute-type features for verification (e.g., Panelist #1 Initials and Panelist #2 Initials).

  2. Each feature must use a Code Group for selectable values, scoped by site to ensure only valid panelists are displayed.

  3. Create a Boolean logic feature with the comparison rule (e.g., Panelist1 ≠ Panelist2).

  4. Configure the Boolean result to render as a standard feature for inclusion in dashboards and compliance reporting.

Boolean verification results are automatically logged in the change history and available for supervisory review and audit purposes.
