Importing Master Data

The Master Data Import functionality of Enact enables you to import parts, features, manufacturing limits, and production assignments.

To import master data:

1. Select Access Menu and then select Data Management | Master Data Import.

   The Master Data Import page appears.

   

2. Click Upload in the Import Data section.

   The file explorer dialog box appears.

   

3. Locate and select the MasterDataImportTemplate excel file containing the master data you want to import.

4. Click Open in File Explorer.

   The Master Data Import page is updated with a import progress message.

   

   The supported file formats for master data import template are .xls and .xlsx. An error message is displayed if an unsupported file format is uploaded.

   The file size should not exceed 5 MB. An error message is displayed if the file size exceeds 5 MB.

5. Once the upload process is complete, the Notification Bell icon is updated.

   

6. Select the Notification icon to view the notification message.

   

7. Click View All on the notification message to navigate to the Upload Status page and view status of the upload.
