Sending and Receiving Aggregate Records
Using this procedure, you can configure Enact to send daily aggregated records from your tenant to a receiver's tenant. The receiver will be able to view the transferred records in their tiles and reports. You can identify the specific data streams to be sent, and send data to any number of receiver tenants.
- Select Access Menu and then select Data Management | Data Connections.

Under the Send Data tab, locate the Enact Connections section.

In the Enact Connections section, you can do the following:

Adding Sender

Select Create.
-
In the Connection Name data field, type the name of the connection to the receiver.

In the Sender Name data field, type the name of sending company or organization.

In the Receiver URL data field, type the destination address for the aggregate records.
Where is the Receiver URL?
To get the Receiver URL, contact the aggregate record receiver and ask them to do the following:

Select Access Menu and then select Data Management | Data Connections.

Select the Receive Data tab.
-
Select Configure or, if a receiver already exists, select Edit for the desired receiver.

If necessary, activate the Ready to receive data slider to enable the receiver.

In the Connection URL data field, select Copy to copy the destination address for aggregate data, and provide this address to the sender.

In the Access Key data field, type the complex key that enables secure communication between sender and receiver.
Where is the Receiver URL?
To get the Access Key, contact the aggregate record receiver and ask them to do the following:

Select Access Menu and then select Data Management | Data Connections.

Select the Receive Data tab.
-
Select Configure or, if a receiver already exists, select Edit for the desired receiver.

If necessary, activate the Ready to receive data slider to enable the receiver.

In the Connection URL data field, select Copy to copy the key, and provide this key to the sender.
To add additional unique keys for individual senders, select Add Access Key.

Select Save.

In the Mapping Language drop-down list, select the desired language label, which maps the data stream names (part, process, and feature) to the receiver's terminology. Contact the aggregate record receiver and ask them to create language labels for the data stream. For more information, please see the following:

To select descriptors, select Change for the desired descriptor, and then configure the selection:

Process
- To add processes based on operation, select the Dynamic radio button, select Operation, and in the Operation drop-down list, select the desired operations, and then select Apply.

To add processes based on tags, select the Dynamic radio button, select Tag Group, and then do the following:
- In the Tag Group drop-down list, select the desired tag group.
- In the Tag drop-down list, select the desired tags.
- Select Apply.

To add individual processes, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Part
- To add parts based on part family, select the Dynamic radio button, select Part Family, and in the Part Family drop-down list, select the desired part families, and then select Apply.

To add parts based on tags, select the Dynamic radio button, select Tag Group, and then do the following:
- In the Tag Group drop-down list, select the desired tag group.
- In the Tag drop-down list, select the desired tags.
- Select Apply.

To add individual parts, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Select Select for each desired part.
To add part revisions, select the desired part revisions in the drop-down list. To include all current and future part revisions, select Select All in the drop-down list.

Select Apply.

Feature
- To add features based on operation, select the Dynamic radio button, select Operation, and in the Operation drop-down list, select the desired operations, and then select Apply.

To add features based on tags, select the Dynamic radio button, select Tag Group, and then do the following:
- In the Tag Group drop-down list, select the desired tag group.
- In the Tag drop-down list, select the desired tags.
- Select Apply.

To add individual features, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Select Select for each desired feature.

Select Apply.

Select Save & Send Request. In the confirmation prompt, select OK.
To save the changes but not send a request, select Save.

To establish the connection, contact the aggregate record receiver and ask them to do the following:

Select Access Menu and then select Data Management | Data Connections.

Select the Receive Data tab.

In the newly created receiver, select Edit.
-
Select Approve Request.
To cancel the connection request, select Reject Request.

Editing Sender
-
In the desired sender, select Edit.

To close the connection to the receiver, click Terminate Connection.

In the Connection Name data field, type the name of the connection to the receiver.

In the Mapping Language drop-down list, select the desired language label, which maps the data stream names (part, process, and feature) to the receiver's terminology. To add individual processes, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Part
- To add parts based on part family, select the Dynamic radio button, select Part Family, and in the Part Family drop-down list, select the desired part families, and then select Apply.

To add parts based on tags, select the Dynamic radio button, select Tag Group, and then do the following:
- In the Tag Group drop-down list, select the desired tag group.
- In the Tag drop-down list, select the desired tags.
- Select Apply.

To add individual parts, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Select Select for each desired part.
To add part revisions, select the desired part revisions in the drop-down list. To include all current and future part revisions, select Select All in the drop-down list.

Feature
- To add features based on operation, select the Dynamic radio button, select Operation, and in the Operation drop-down list, select the desired operations, and then select Apply.

To add features based on tags, select the Dynamic radio button, select Tag Group, and then do the following:
- In the Tag Group drop-down list, select the desired tag group.
- In the Tag drop-down list, select the desired tags.
- Select Apply.

To add individual features, select the Static radio button, and then do the following:

Select Select for each desired feature.

Select Apply.

Editing Receiver
-
In the desired receiver, select Edit.

To close the connection to the sender, click Terminate Connection.

In the Connection Name data field, type the name of the connection to the receiver.

In the Sender Name data field, type the name of sending company or organization.

Select Save.
