Downloading Raw Data

Using this procedure, you will download the data displayed on a raw dashboard into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, based on the parameter set and dashboard filtering. Enact downloads the data in the selected language and system time zone of the current user.

1. Select Access Menu , select Dashboard, and then select a raw dashboard. For more information, please see Selecting Dashboards.

   You can only download data from a raw dashboard, and not from a work dashboard or aggregated dashboard.

2. In the toolbar, select Download Raw Data .

   If the selected parameter set returns no data, Enact disables Download Raw Data , preventing you from downloading the Excel spreadsheet.

3. In the Download dialog box, select Save, and in the Save As dialog box, browse to the desired save location on the computer (for example, the Windows Downloads folder).

4. In Microsoft Excel, open the saved file and examine the contents of the downloaded data as three worksheets:

   • Query Criteria. Displays the requested data and the returned data based on the parameter set and dashboard filtering.

   • Subgroup Data. Displays all requested subgroups as a spreadsheet.

     If you filter on a feature, Enact only returns subgroups for that feature. Enact will not display other features, even if the listed subgroups contains other features.

   • Checklist Data. Displays the requested checklists.
