Quick Setup - Manufacturing Limits

On the Manufacturing Limits page, you can set one or more manufacturing limits (USL, Target, LSL) for the part-feature combinations.

Manufacturing Limits are optional.

  1. To add manufacturing limits, select Manufacturing Limits, and then do the following:

    1. In the Part data field, select the desired part from the selected parts. HintClosedTo locate the desired part, begin typing a string within the part. For example, to locate Part Name, you can type par or you can type nam.

    2. In the Feature data field, select the desired feature from the selected features. HintClosedTo locate the desired feature, begin typing a string within the feature. For example, to locate Feature Name, you can type fea or you can type nam.

    3. Type the Upper (USL) limit value, Target limit value, and Lower (LSL) limit value.

      You must add at least one manufacturing limit value, either USL, Target, or LSL. You do not need to add all three.

      If manufacturing limits already exist for the selected part-feature combination, Enact displays the manufacturing limits, which you cannot edit on this page.

  2. To add another manufacturing limit set, select Manufacturing Limits, and then repeat the steps above.

  3. To remove manufacturing limits, select Delete.

    To remove manufacturing limits, you must have two or more manufacturing limits.

  4. Select Save.
