Setting Process States

Using this procedure, you will set a new process state or change an existing process state.

1. Select Access Menu and then select Process | Process States.

2. In the Process States landing page, you can do the following:

   • Setting New Process States

     You can assign process state with specified date and time for a process.

     1. In the Process States landing page, select Set Process State.

        

     2. In the Set State dialog box, set the process state of a process and the date and time of the process state activation. To set the process state of a process, do the following:

        1. In the Process drop-down list, select the desired process. HintTo locate the desired process, begin typing a string within the process. For example, to locate Process Name, you can type pro or you can type nam.
        2. In the Process State drop-down list, select the desired process state.
        3. In the Date & Time data field, select Calendar and select the desired activation date, and then select Time and select the desired activation time.
        4. Select Save.
   • Changing Existing Process States

     You can change the currently assigned process state for a process. To view previously assigned process states for a process and view which user has changed the process state, view the History section in the Set State dialog box for the process.

     1. In the Process States landing page, select Set State .

        

     2. In the Set State dialog box, set the process state of a process and the date and time of the process state activation. To set the process state of a process, do the following:

        1. In the Process State drop-down list, select the desired process state.
        2. In the Date & Time data field, select Calendar and select the desired activation date, and then select Time and select the desired activation time.
        3. Select Save.
