Specification Limits (Seasoning)

1. Select Access Menu and then select Analysis | Manufacturing Limits.

2. To add specification limits for Chips - BBQ | Color, select Create Manufacturing Limit, and then do the following:

   • Part: Chips - BBQ

     How do I select the part?

     In the Part drop-down list, select the desired part. HintTo locate the desired part, begin typing a string within the part. For example, to locate Part Name, you can type par or you can type nam.

   • Feature: Color

     How do I select the feature?

     In the Feature drop-down list, select the desired feature. HintTo locate the desired feature, begin typing a string within the feature. For example, to locate Feature Name, you can type fea or you can type nam.

   • Upper (USL): 50
   • Lower (LSL): 40

   • Target: 45

     How do I automatically populate the Target limit value?

     Select in the Target data field, and then select the Auto Fill checkbox.

   Select Save.

3. To add specification limits for Seasoning - BBQ | Application Rate, select Create Manufacturing Limit, and then do the following:

   • Part: Seasoning - BBQ

     How do I select the part?

     In the Part drop-down list, select the desired part. HintTo locate the desired part, begin typing a string within the part. For example, to locate Part Name, you can type par or you can type nam.

   • Feature: Application Rate

     How do I select the feature?

     In the Feature drop-down list, select the desired feature. HintTo locate the desired feature, begin typing a string within the feature. For example, to locate Feature Name, you can type fea or you can type nam.

   • Upper (USL): 1.85
   • Lower (LSL): 1.65

   • Target: 1.75

     How do I automatically populate the Target limit value?

     Select in the Target data field, and then select the Auto Fill checkbox.

   Select Save.

4. To add specification limits for Chips - Sea Salt | Color, select Create Manufacturing Limit, and then do the following:

   • Part: Chips - Sea Salt

     How do I select the part?

     In the Part drop-down list, select the desired part. HintTo locate the desired part, begin typing a string within the part. For example, to locate Part Name, you can type par or you can type nam.

   • Feature: Color

     How do I select the feature?

     In the Feature drop-down list, select the desired feature. HintTo locate the desired feature, begin typing a string within the feature. For example, to locate Feature Name, you can type fea or you can type nam.

   • Upper (USL): 60
   • Lower (LSL): 50

   • Target: 55

     How do I automatically populate the Target limit value?

     Select in the Target data field, and then select the Auto Fill checkbox.

   Select Save.

5. To add specification limits for Seasoning - SS | Application Rate, select Create Manufacturing Limit, and then do the following:

   • Part: Seasoning - SS

     How do I select the part?

     In the Part drop-down list, select the desired part. HintTo locate the desired part, begin typing a string within the part. For example, to locate Part Name, you can type par or you can type nam.

   • Feature: Application Rate

     How do I select the feature?

     In the Feature drop-down list, select the desired feature. HintTo locate the desired feature, begin typing a string within the feature. For example, to locate Feature Name, you can type fea or you can type nam.

   • Upper (USL): 1.85
   • Lower (LSL): 1.65

   • Target: 1.75

     How do I automatically populate the Target limit value?
